Odyssey is an app-driven assessment that draws on a revolutionary new assessment technology which we call “digital animated dynamic response technology”.
It works like this: The candidate responds to stimuli presented in a digitally animated format. Their responses dynamically lead to the next series of stimuli, all the time being tracked by the software to assess a range of defined competencies.
Odyssey consists of a series of assessments and experiences that provide knowledge and understanding of talent, leading to a journey of meaningful work and a prosperous career. The system comprises nine instruments, which are used to assess readiness deployment in entry level roles and training response for those who either have not achieved high levels of education or cannot find work through formal employment channels. It has been designed specifically for developing economies where a minimum level of education and literacy is not readily assumed.

Application: Useful in assessing applicants for learnerships into entry level positions or for direct employment in entry level roles.
Research: In one of the research studies undertaken so far, involving a large sample of employees, those selected using Odyssey achieved a 38% higher productivity on the job. In another study a correlation between assessment results and job performance of 0,47 was achieved.
