Odyssey’s 2021 highlights

Odyssey has seen its fair share of highlights in 2021.

First among these is the hurdling functionality that’s been built into the pre-hire phase of our recruitment process. When combined with the new Evalex Video Interview Assessment (VIA) solution, we are confident that we have a solution that will revolutionise high volume assessment industry in South Africa. We have also seen an amazing uptick in our Dynamic Risk Assessment, which has taken off really nicely. This tool adds value in many ways, including forming part of A Model to Address Youth Unemployment: Addressing the Whole Person that we have utilised in a range of youth employment initiatives with great success.

We are also proud to announce that we have been nominated by one of our clients for the South African Graduate Employees Association (SAGEA) Best Supplier Partner award for 2021. This is a nomination that we take very seriously, because it demonstrates that our clients truly see us as a valid partner whom they can work with to build and customise solutions that meet their unique needs.

As an assesstech company, we are always looking to enhance our offerings in the market. To this end, we are currently exploring the latest developments in technology, gamification and AI to enhance the games and assessments on the Odyssey platform to make them more enjoyable, shorter and more accurate.

On the growth front, we have welcomed a new developer, Evgeny Umerov, to the Odyssey team and have also taken a host of incredible clients on board.
